It feels like we are in this era where we become afraid to love, afraid to be loved..
We tend to travel much more than before, meeting new people constantly. Marriage has lost its eternal charm and If you happen to take the parisian Metro you will even see promotions of websites that sell adultery..
The older we grow the more fearful we are to expose ourself and the people we love to pain and deception.
A couple years ago I met a woman who had a wonderful little child named Lola..
I remember she was afraid to introduce me to her because our relationship was complicated, we lived thousand miles from each other, so she wanted to protect her from potential future breakouts.
I Eventually met Lola, and I loved her with every fiber of my heart..
We ended up splitting after two intense years of relationships,
I’ve only had a month to bond with this little girl but a month that felt like eternity,
and this love that I cherished her with will keep blooming in her for ever…
In fact I think love never dies, it is transmitted unconsciously to our friends, family and people we meet..
no matter how long you’ve loved, how long you’ve been loved..
One of my favorite quotes of is of John Keats :
“I almost wish we were butterflies and lived but three summer days – three such days with you I could fill with more delight than fifty common years could ever contain”
